Heartache and Healing

God Heals the Heartbroken

Above all else and above everyone else who loves you, God loves you. You, you, you!

Are you familiar with this little saying?

         “If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it!”

I love that saying! Can you visualize what that saying conveys? Can you imagine God’s refrigerator with all of our snapshots, including your smiling photo? His frig is covered with the pictures of His creations that He loves!

Seriously, and more importantly than that amusing idea, consider this;
every time you see a hummingbird, a pretty cloud formation, a flower blooming, or anything else that gives you a fleeting moment of joy, just remember that God created that for your pleasure!

No husband or wife can create a hummingbird for you.

No sweetheart can paint puffy clouds to reflect the golden setting sunlight into a brilliant sunset for you.

A lover can order roses to be delivered from the florist for you, but a lover cannot create those roses.

Only God can design an ugly brown bulb so that it sprouts into a cheerful yellow Spring daffodil for you.

God creates all of this beauty for you and me and all of us because he loves you, and wants you to enjoy all of these beautiful things in life!

So, on those days when humans let us down, when friends disappoint us, when sweethearts betray us, let us remember that God loves us and shows us his love in countless gentle ways every day!

Sending hugs from the garden,
Gabriella
