Thoughts on Cancer
How does
being diagnosed with cancer affect you?
It makes you exceed your perceived limits of bravery.
It awakens you to savor the "simple" pleasures of life...
family,
holidays,
sunrises,
tulips blooming,
birthday candles,
Christmas tree lights,
opening day at the ballpark.
It helps you to extend your level of generosity to others.
It exposes your vulnerability, your weaknesses, your temper.
It occupies every extra spare thought of your waking and
sleeping
hours.
It forces you into reality one day, denial the next.
It inspires you to set goals,
And to exceed them!
