Moonlight Over Kalapaki Beach
Moonlight over Kalapaki Beach
illuminates a promenade
of iridescent fluffy clouds
against the sapphire blue sky.
The clouds reflect the moon,
creating their own source of light
above the palm-framed sky.
The silken puffs glide silently
over the distant sacred mountaintops,
migrating to the rain forest,
producing warm showers to refresh the dawn.
